Boys will be Boys

We have had a rough week around here first on Tuesday Quinn was outside playing with his cousin and tripped on the sidewalk and came home with both of his knees scrapped. Now when ever he looks at them all he can do is say HURT! It is so sad but so cute at the same time. Yesterday I was washing my car windows and i turned my back and my niece had put Quinn in the front seat and then decided to let him back out. Well that was a bad idea because he was leaning against the door so when it was opened he fell face first to the ground. It took me about two seconds to get to him and he already had a huge goose egg on his forehead. Which scared me to death because the other day on a health show they said not to mess with any kind of head injury, even if it looks minor it can be serious. Well after calling the doctor they said to watch him for an hour and if his pupils stay the same size he is ok. Thankfully they did and he only sulked for about an hour and then was off to play again.

MODBE PARTY!!!

I am having a modbe swimwear party tomorrow at my house 785 E Mill St Bountiful. it is an open house from 7-8:30 there will be item to try on. New additions!!

No I don't mean another baby, although I truly wish I did but still no health insurance. But we did get a puppy. Quintin is always taking about puppies, everything has something to do with a dog. It has gotten so bad that he has been talking about dogs in his sleep. So after begging my dad(sense we live with them)to let him have one (it only took like 3 months) he finally said yes after Quinn woke up at 4:30 in the morning asking for a puppy.

Smiles

Quintin is always willing to smile for the camera even with out being asked to. He is so funny everytime a camera comes his way he puts on this great smile and doesn't stop as long as he thinks it is pointed at him. Needless to say we have plenty of pictures with great smiles from Quintin.

Crafty

So while blog stocking(yes we all do it.) I came across a blog of a woman named Rae and she makes so many different things that are so amazing. I truly am in aww at how talented this woman really is. Well I liked the buttercup bag that she made the pattern for So I thought i would make it (I'll post pictures later) well it turns out that I like bags that are alot bigger than this one but it is darling, I think I will just enlarge the pattern and start over. It is a way easy bag to sew I'm sure any one could do it. But you need to take a look at all the other things she does. her blog is madebyrae.blogspot.com

Babies

Quintin loves his new little cousin Kenley. Every time he sees her he is trying to touch her and love her. He loves to give her kisses, he also thinks its fun to play with her hair. But really he just loves to have anything to do with her.

Growing Up

Quintin is getting so big I can't believe it. Each day he seems to be saying something new or doing something only a big kid should do. he loves to go outside and if you don't take him out he will cry or should I say scream until you do. I now let him go out in the back yard by himself sense it is fully fenced. He can't get enough of it, yesterday he was outside for about 3 hours maybe more. he is also liking to watch the noggin channel on TV it has some cute shows that seem to be educational so i will let him sit and watch it as long as he wants to which seems to only be for about 15 minutes at the most.
