So we found out the hard way that Quintin is allergic to anything that has penicillin in it. He had a double ear infection and the first medication didn't do the job so we went back for a second, after being on it foe 7 days Quintin broke out in hives. I wasn't sure why I couldn't think of any foods he had that were different so I decided to give him benadryl to see if they would just go away. Well they were just geting worse so at the end of the day Bryce and I had to take him to insta care and the only thing we can come up with is that he is allergic to the penicillin based medicine he was taking. The Doctor said to stop it right away and put him on steroids to help them go away. So after a few long nights of no sleep he if finally doing better. Poor little guy, he was such a good sport trying to be happy. The hives got much worse after these pictures but he didn't feel much like taking new ones.

Oh sad! Poor little guy, glad he's feeling better. Scary though, lucky that hives were the only thing that happened.
Awe poor guy!!! Brenley is allergic to penicillin as well, we found out through an ear infection as well poor guy! We also found she is allergic to yeasts and mold and those contribute to penicillin...crazy world Hope his ears are feeling better!
