Little Helper!

I always said I would be having my children do work around the house at a young age so they could get use to it, but I think 1 may be a little to young to put to work. Quintin is always trying to get into the dishwasher no matter how many times you take him out there he is back at it before you can put another dish in. What a good little helper I am so proud of him.

Bummed Economy Got you DOWN?

So Thursday Bryce comes home from work with bad news, he was layed off!!! No good I know, he has worked there for over two years and is the person employed the longest in the yard. But here is the catch he is the only person in the yard who has had an injury in the last year so they had to let him go over men who have been there for 2 months. The best part of it all is the accident was someone else's fault, the guy hit him the back of the head with a 2x4. What a joke I know but that's how it goes and there isn't much me can do but file for unemployment and receive 60 percent of his income. We decided to make lite of the situation and Bryce will just not go back to work and go to school full time and work maybe get a part time job in the evenings. So wish us luck as we start this new chapter of your life's. So don't let the bummed economy get you down try and make the best of what you have, turn this lose into a win for yourself and your family. Take a chance and risk what you can to make life better for you. Thanks you all so much for your love and support it is much appreciated.

Hives

So we found out the hard way that Quintin is allergic to anything that has penicillin in it. He had a double ear infection and the first medication didn't do the job so we went back for a second, after being on it foe 7 days Quintin broke out in hives. I wasn't sure why I couldn't think of any foods he had that were different so I decided to give him benadryl to see if they would just go away. Well they were just geting worse so at the end of the day Bryce and I had to take him to insta care and the only thing we can come up with is that he is allergic to the penicillin based medicine he was taking. The Doctor said to stop it right away and put him on steroids to help them go away. So after a few long nights of no sleep he if finally doing better. Poor little guy, he was such a good sport trying to be happy. The hives got much worse after these pictures but he didn't feel much like taking new ones.
